WINTER VISITOR DESK TRAINING

November 5, 2005 - 10 am to 1pm
at the Steel Information Center
Munson Valley

by Ranger Pete Peterson
Crater Lake National Park

Greetings FOCL,

Thank you for allowing me to speak to you at the recent Annual Meeting. I look forward to working with all of you this winter at the Steel Information Center front desk.

Don't forget that training for this job will be on Saturday, Nov 5th from 10 am to 1pm. Its important that you attend this training if you are interested in helping this winter.

The training will go over visitor center operations, etiquette and cash register operations. Please let me know if you plan to attend. As I stated during the Annual Meeting, I am looking for volunteers to help mostly on Sundays this winter.

Please take a look at your calendar and think about which weekends this winter you'd be willing to work.
